CUSTOM GRAND PIANO FROM VIENNA

Our new Bösendorfer grand piano was designed to perfectly complement the wood finish in our beautiful church. Ted Latham, SKS Liturgical Music Director, says it is the most stunning instrument he has ever played. “Effortlessly producing magnificent sound across her entire range, ‘Gisele’ sounds even better than she looks, and that is saying something.” The piano “offers wonderfully rich support for singing in our parish. I cannot wait to play it and every visiting pianist says the same. It is truly a joy, and will serve our parish for decades.”

Why a New Organ

When our new church was built in 1966, a generous donor offered to pay for an organ that had become available. That organ was never intended for church use, was in constant need of costly repairs and lacked crucial features such as volume control. It also had logistical and acoustic problems because it sat in the choir loft, far from the altar.

Since 1995, pastors have investigated replacing the organ.  With generous support from our parish, we finally did just that.

Our beautiful new organ, custom-made by world-renowned Italian organ builder Fratelli Ruffati, and the Bösendorfer grand piano will elevate our musical accompaniment and enhance worship for generations to come.
