Bible Study/Faith Sharing
Are you interested in learning more about how God reveals himself in Sacred Scripture? Would you like to better understand the Scripture readings proclaimed at Sunday Mass? Even though we believe that God reveals himself to us through the inspired word found in the Bible, most of us Catholics have very little background in it. Come join Msgr. Brouwers and two dozen fellow parishioners every Thursday from 9:00 – 10:30am as he offers a comprehensive explanation of the Bible as well as a complete background and explanation of the Scripture readings for each upcoming Sunday! This will make the Bible come alive and your Sunday Eucharistic Celebration much more meaningful and valuable for your spiritual journey.
Msgr. Brouwers also encourages participants to share their faith journey as they experience how God’s Word has been revealed to them. And, he welcomes any questions on the Bible at any time during these sessions. Msgr. Brouwers, who has studied the Sacred Scripture for many years (up to the doctoral level at Catholic University of America), provides the most up-to-date mainstream Catholic Scriptural insight into the Living Word of God. And, you don’t have to come to every session; just come when you can!
